Live. Love. Dream. List

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”

– C.S. Lewis

Have you created lists of things that you want to accomplish in your life? Are there things you want to do, places you want to see, people you want to meet/ visit? What are some of the dreams, desires and goals that you have for your life?

In the years since first watching “A Walk to Remember” and “The Bucketlist” I have made my own various lists of things that I would like to do in my life. After losing Greg I reevaluated where my priorities are and what I was investing my time in pursuing. My “LIVE. LOVE. DREAM. LIST” incorporates both old dreams and new dreams. It incorporates my life, goals and dreams from “before” in addition to my life now and the goals and dreams that I aspire for the future.

For example, writing a memoir, having my art in an exhibit would not have been on my list “before”. Whereas, attending baseball games at each of the current baseball stadiums is a dream of mine from childhood.

As the years go by I re-evaluate my list and add some and take some off.

I found out that life is short, GOD IS IN CONTROL and I can be here one second and gone the next. I want to do as much positive things with my life in the time that I have left here. When I get to Heaven I want to be able to say that I lived, loved and gave with all that God gave me.

  • There is no right or wrong way to make a Bucketlist. After I made my list I researched online to get ideas from other lists and I modified what I already had to fit in with my own thoughts and personality. Some of the categories I use I have not seen the actual categorical term used in other Bucketlists. There are various formats that you can find easily online if you are looking for some structure when organizing your list.
  • You also can title your list in any way that you want. For me “Bucketlist” just seemed depressing, and was not reflective of the contents of my list! So I decided I thought about a creative title that reflected how I chose to live my life by living, loving and dreaming!
